REDEFINE "SUSTAINABLE FASHION"
When we talk about leading a sustainable lifestyle, we have the tendency to think in extremes. We picture ourselves having to change our entire way of living and forming new purchasing habits. As a fashion brand, we want to break that stereotype. Instead of making a drastic change, start by reviewing the items in your wardrobe, by thinking before the next purchase, by choosing natural fibres instead of resources-depleting and heavily manufactured fabrics. The little things we do matter and we will show you how.
With the ultimate goal of maximising the lifespan of each Button piece, we only use quality fabrics and make sure every piece achieves the balance between comfort, functionality and timeless design. Most importantly, we are making “sustainable fashion” an accessible concept to all. Our affordable pricing and 100% transparency are meant to reach a greater audience, with the hope of making “sustainable fashion” the "new normal".
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us we would love to hear from you.
2/3 of the environmental impacts of a piece of garment is made during the farming process. That's why we use predominantly natural fabrics for our designs, predominantly linen, organic cotton and deadstock fabric with the occasion of recycled polyester for certain prints.
However, the rest is up to you. Did you know that 75 – 80% of the carbon footprint of a piece of clothing comes from how it is taken care of?
Look at how you can help with how you care our Button pieces!
One of the biggest negative contributors of the fashion industry is the deadstock items and eventually going to the landfill. We produce only limited amount of stock that are meant to sell for only 3 months and introducing Pre-Order windows for our VIPs.
Button Paper Box are made from recycled paper pulp which is compostable and biodegradable. Simply remove the sealing tape and we are ready to recycle process!
Or keep it for future use, we are adorable ;)

WHAT YOU CAN DO
STARTS WITH YOU
How many pieces of clothing lying in the back of your closet you forgot about? How do you treat unwanted items?
Upcycle, gift to a friend, donate and resell are all amazing options than dumping them to the landfill. Our favorite platforms include Poshmark, The Real Real, ThredUP and more!
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Every buying decision you make has the power to change the world a little.
Yes, it really does.
#1 It puts money in the pockets of the authentic companies.
There are companies out there that do the right thing even when no one is looking. They are the ones you want to support.
#2 It helps put a stop to child labor and human rights violations.
The reasons that some companies and brands are able to charge the low prices they do are not ones that you want to know about. The cheaper they are to market, they are to sell. So a lot of times, the cheapest brand is not a good idea.
#3 You are the one taking action to not to be the victim.
Do you know how many products right now in your house are toxic or somehow cause you sickness and allergies?
The online world is amazing and can often tell you when something is off about a company in terms of having any skeletons in their closets. Don’t be afraid to dive deep in the research and really looking into them.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Did you know that 75 – 80% of the carbon footprint for a piece of clothing comes from how it is taken care of?
#1 DO FULL LOADS
It takes the same amount of energy and water to power the washing machine no matter how much is in there, so more clothes in a load means less loads to do. On top of that, when the washing machine is full there is less friction between the clothes.
#2 COLD WASH
Did you know that 90% of a washing machines power usage comes from heating the water? that leaves only 10% to power the motor and actually wash the clothes.
That is a lot of power savings to be made without having to sacrifice.
#3 DITCH THE DRYER
Two very good reasons.
One it costs you money and uses lots of energy. Ditching the dryer will mean more money in your pocket. Secondly, the dryer can be really harsh on clothes. The heat increases shrinkage, fades colours faster and can affect the quality of the fabrics.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Instead of purchasing products for one season from fast fashion chains, how about acquainting quality that serves you an entire year, or maybe more?
Not only you are helping the planet, you look better too! At Button, we do not chase for trends.
We believe a clean, simple, elegant look is all you need to shine.
